Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for customer service, ensuring resident satisfaction and supporting the community's leasing goals. This role involves balancing administrative tasks with direct interaction with prospective and current residents. You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and must reside on the designated community floor.

What you'll do#

• Provide high-quality customer service by warmly greeting clients, answering leasing calls, and determining their housing needs.
• Manage the leasing process, including completing applications, handling file paperwork, and maintaining documentation in line with company policy.
• Participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Assist with planning community events and support various additional projects.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
• Participate in required training programs and perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program (Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications preferred) at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
• Completion of at least one year of college and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, walking, reaching, and climbing.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

• Location: Eugene, Oregon.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Hourly rate plus bonus eligibility.
• Employment Type: Temporary, non-exempt, part-time (approx. 20 hours/week).
