Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern role is a temporary, part-time position focused on supporting property operations and resident satisfaction. This role involves maintaining community occupancy through leasing efforts, administrative support, and resident engagement. Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and are expected to live on-site at the designated community.

What you'll do#

• Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete lease applications and file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in audits as assigned.
• Greet prospective clients, answer leasing calls, conduct community tours, and assist with the sales process.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
• Assist with planning community events and other property projects.
• Demonstrate a professional attitude toward team members, residents, and vendors.
• Participate in required company training programs and handle on-call responsibilities such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university (minimum 6 credit hours) with at least one year completed.
• A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Current or future status as a leaseholder of the community.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and accessing all areas of the property in various weather conditions.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Real Estate.
