Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern role is a part-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, supporting resident retention, and assisting with leasing availability. Interns are expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and must reside in the community.

What you'll do#

• Serve as an ambassador for customer service by ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policy and participate in lease file audits.
• Greet prospective clients, answer leasing calls, and conduct apartment tours.
• Assist with administrative front desk tasks and help plan community events.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
• Participate in required company training programs and assist with additional community projects as assigned.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours completed.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, which will be verified annually.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.

• Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour plus bonus potential.
