Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. This position involves direct interaction with prospective and current residents, requiring a professional approach to customer service and community management.

What you'll do#

• Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and prospective clients.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and duties.
• Process lease applications and maintain lease file documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in the planning and execution of community events.
• Conduct property tours, answer leasing inquiries, and assist with the sales process.
• Participate in required training programs and community projects as assigned.
• Perform on-call duties, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, as needed.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with at least one year of study completed.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and reside on the assigned community floor.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid hourly rate with bonus eligibility.
