About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on resident retention and leasing availability to help the community reach full occupancy. This role involves balancing administrative tasks with direct customer service, requiring a professional and collaborative approach to support the community team.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a customer service ambassador by ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, including learning to greet prospects, answer leasing calls, and close sales.
- Assist with planning community events and maintaining the tour path.
- Complete additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Psychology, or Communications.

- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Status: Paid, part-time, and temporary.
