Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on delivering high-quality customer service and supporting the goal of 100% occupancy through resident retention and leasing activities. This role requires collaboration with the team to manage community operations and maintain a welcoming environment for prospective and current residents.

What you'll do#

• Act as a customer service ambassador by ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and file paperwork.
• Participate in the leasing process, including answering calls, conducting community tours, and closing sales.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
• Assist in planning community events and support various community projects.
• Participate in required training programs and handle on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and property rounds.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, and vendors.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
• Completion of at least one year of college and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community and live on the designated floor.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration or Real Estate.

• Location: College Station, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid position with bonus eligibility.
