Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing activities. This position requires a commitment to customer service and collaboration within a team environment. Interns are expected to live on-site in a designated community unit.

What you'll do#

• Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and prospective clients.
• Manage front desk administrative tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
• Complete lease applications and participate in lease file audits.
• Follow established leasing procedures, including greeting clients, answering calls, and conducting property tours.
• Assist with planning and executing community events.
• Participate in required company training programs.
• Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and property rounds.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least one year completed.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks, including walking the property in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
