About the role#
The Leasing Community Intern serves as a customer service ambassador to support property occupancy goals. This role involves managing leasing inquiries, maintaining resident files, and contributing to community operations. Interns must be current or future leaseholders of the community and are expected to live on the designated community floor.
What you'll do#
- Act as an ambassador for customer service by assisting residents and prospective clients.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Complete lease applications and participate in lease file audits.
- Assist with community projects and the planning of resident events.
- Participate in required training programs and pass leasing certifications.
- Perform on-call duties, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program (Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications preferred).
- Completion of at least one year of university studies and a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate all interior and exterior areas of the property.

- Location: Tempe, Arizona.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
