Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern role is a part-time, paid position for Summer 2026. This role focuses on supporting community operations, resident retention, and leasing efforts. Interns are expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and must reside on the designated community floor as assigned by the Community Manager.

What you'll do#

• Serve as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete lease applications and associated paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in file audits.
• Assist with community events and various projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Ensure the tour path remains clean to provide a positive first impression for prospective residents.
• Participate in required company training programs.
• Perform on-call duties, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university, with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum of one year completed.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically access all areas of the property, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Preference for candidates pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Real Estate.
