Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of a residential community. This role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. You will serve as a point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a positive experience while gaining hands-on experience in the real estate industry.

What you'll do#

• Act as an ambassador for customer service by ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative tasks, including completing lease applications and maintaining accurate lease file documentation.
• Participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Assist in planning and executing community events.
• Support the team with various community projects and daily operations.
• Utilize leasing techniques to greet clients, answer inquiries, and present apartment homes.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university (minimum 6 credit hours).
• Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies.
• A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Real Estate, or Marketing.

• Compensation: $19.25 - $21.25 per hour plus bonus potential.
• This is a paid, part-time position.
