Leasing Community Intern

About the role#

The Leasing Community Intern serves as a key member of the community team, focusing on resident satisfaction, leasing availability, and administrative support. This role involves maintaining high occupancy levels through effective communication and professional service. Interns will participate in company-specific training programs and assist in the daily operations of the property.

What you'll do#

• Act as an ambassador for customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in file audits as assigned.
• Execute leasing duties including greeting prospective clients, answering calls, conducting tours, and closing sales.
• Assist with planning community events and contribute to various community projects.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
• Perform on-call responsibilities, such as lock-outs and community rounds.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
• Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Communications, or Psychology.

• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Compensation: Paid position with bonus eligibility.
