About the role#
Capital Insurance Group is hiring an Actuarial Summer Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Monterey, California. You will work directly with our Actuarial and Analytics team to build technical skills and solve insurance-related problems.
What you'll do#
- Gain practical experience in core actuarial disciplines.
- Lead your own analysis projects under the guidance of experienced actuaries.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
- A GPA of 3.6 or higher is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python or R is preferred.
