About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain expertise in core actuarial disciplines while working directly with our team. You will lead your own analysis under the supervision of seasoned actuaries to develop technical skills within the insurance industry.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in core actuarial disciplines.
- Lead independent analysis projects with guidance from experienced actuaries.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
- A GPA of 3.6 or higher is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and either Python or R is preferred.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site at our office in Reno, Nevada.
