About the role#
As a Project Controls Student, you will join the Facilities Project Controls Team to support major thermal and conventional facility projects. You will report to the Manager of Project Controls and gain experience in planning, scheduling, and project cost management.
What you'll do#
- Manage project planning and scheduling.
- Track project costs and prepare forecasts.
- Perform cost estimating tasks.
- Analyze project data and generate reports.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time post-secondary program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics.
- A solid understanding of Construction Management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A good grasp of data analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta (Head Office).
- Term: 4 months, starting May 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Status: Paid position.
