About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience within the Oil Sands Projects team. You will support lodge operations and facility management at our Albian or Horizon sites. This is a safety sensitive position that requires a 7 days on, 7 days off shift schedule, with 12-hour workdays.
What you'll do#
- Review daily reports to maximize camp room utilization and occupancy.
- Perform daily lodge walking tours to monitor contractor performance, guest satisfaction, and identify maintenance needs.
- Support the mobilization and demobilization of dorms and lodges based on site occupancy levels.
- Oversee safety compliance, facility maintenance, and administrative functions including catering and recreation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of contractor scopes of work and key performance indicators.
- Assist with logistics for Turnaround and Outage events to support increased on-site headcount.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program focused on business administration, hospitality management, or project management.
- Experience in food service, accommodations, customer service, or facility management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage your time in a professional environment.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Company sponsored fly-in/fly-out travel is provided from Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
