About the role#
Callahan Construction Managers is hiring a Site Intern for our Warwick, Rhode Island location. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role. We are looking for students or graduates with a background in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management who have a genuine interest in the construction field.
What you'll do#
- Provide general administrative support for construction projects.
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with documenting project planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate the production and updates of schedule networks and printouts.
- Maintain a safe workplace by following all health and safety laws.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
- The ability to lift up to 100 lbs and navigate entire job sites, including stairs and elevated structures.
- An organized, professional, and team-oriented approach.
- Previous internship or work experience in construction is a plus.
