About the role#
Calian Group is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Student to join the team in Saskatoon. You will work with marketing and communications professionals to grow brand visibility for the company's work in the space and defence industries. This is a full-time, eight-month co-op or internship position.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development and management of social media marketing strategies.
- Develop social media campaigns and track key performance indicators.
- Maintain an engaging social media calendar.
- Create content for social media platforms, including written, video, and photo assets.
- Support the distribution of marketing materials.
- Assist with event management activities.
- Research social media best practices and share findings with the team.
- Gather data on customers and competitors to support marketing efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a co-op or internship program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of social media best practices.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
- Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools like Canva is helpful, as is experience with LinkedIn, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Copilot.

- Compensation: $22.50 per hour.
- Term: Eight-month, rolling start.
