About the role#
The NIL & Athlete Marketing Intern supports the agency's football and basketball athlete marketing efforts. You will focus on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) strategy, brand development, and partnership outreach for collegiate athletes. This role provides exposure to deal structuring, sponsorship asset creation, and revenue generation strategies.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of NIL marketing strategies for football and basketball athletes.
- Research and build prospect lists for brand partnerships aligned with athlete positioning.
- Support outreach efforts to prospective NIL sponsors and corporate partners.
- Assist in drafting pitch decks, one-sheets, and sponsorship proposals for collegiate athletes.
- Conduct market research on NIL deal trends, brand spend categories, and competitor partnerships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university for the duration of the internship.
- Preference for students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Understanding of the football and basketball landscapes at the collegiate level.
- Preference for junior or senior standing.
- Experience in sports marketing, fundraising, sales, or brand partnerships is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Los Angeles, California.
- The role is hybrid, with an expected in-office presence of 2 to 3 days per week.
- The term is for Fall 2026, requiring a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week.
- This is an unpaid internship, and applicants must be eligible to receive academic credit.
