About the role#
Calian Nuclear is hiring interns to support technical projects across our service areas, including safety analysis, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and systems engineering. You will work within a project team to conduct technical analyses and contribute to the delivery of high-quality results for our clients. We have four positions available for this internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform and support scientific and technical project work.
- Develop and maintain project deliverables according to the Calian Nuclear Quality Management System.
- Write high-quality technical reports and documentation.
- Participate in technical analyses as a member of a project team.
- Assist the Senior Manager or Director with business development and proposal efforts.
- Support Project Managers with daily project requirements.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university engineering degree program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
- Capability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Eligibility for a Reliability-level Government Security Clearance.
- Eligibility to register as an Engineer-in-Training is considered an asset.

- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $58,000 per annum.
- Terms available: Summer 2027, Fall 2027, Winter 2028, Spring 2028, and Summer 2028.
