About the role#
As an Employee Experience Intern at BWE, you will join our HR team to help build a positive workplace culture. This program offers exposure to capital markets and commercial mortgage banking through hands-on work in HR operations, recruiting, and employee engagement. You will support the full employee journey, from onboarding new hires to coordinating internal programs.
What you'll do#
- Plan and run employee engagement events and programs.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Gather and analyze feedback through surveys and focus groups.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with foundation scholarship fundraising.
- Perform passive recruitment on platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and Handshake for entry-level roles.
- Work with cross-functional teams on internal communications and culture-building.
- Maintain and update HR resources and documentation.
- Contribute ideas to improve workplace satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks and project coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate sophomore or junior status.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- An inquisitive nature and an entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Interest in the commercial real estate industry and property types like multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and lodging.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
