About the role#
This internship takes place over 10 to 12 weeks at our food manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Arkansas. You will work on daily plant operations and process improvements while gaining professional development in the food production industry. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Master the ins and outs of food production.
- Collaborate with our team to optimize processes.
- Contribute to quality assurance and food safety.
- Develop your leadership skills by guiding and mentoring our first-line employees.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus involvement.
- Previous work experience of any kind is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Location: Huntsville, Arkansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Environment: You will work in a manufacturing plant with varying conditions, including cold, wet, or warm areas. You must be able to wear required personal protective equipment. The noise level may require hearing protection.
