About the role#
As a Feed Mill Intern, you will spend your summer learning the daily operations of a feed mill. You will gain hands-on experience in how feed is manufactured and delivered to support turkey production. This role focuses on professional development through assignments in production, maintenance, and safety.
What you'll do#
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a feed mill, including feed manufacturing and ingredient management.
- Partner with mill leaders and team members to support production, maintenance, and safety initiatives.
- Assist with projects focused on process improvement, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational data and present project findings and recommendations to leadership.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Your expected graduation date is between December 2028 and June 2029.
- You have the ability to work in a feed mill environment, which includes exposure to dust, varying temperatures, noise, and heights.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- You possess a willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
