About the role#
The Burlington Sock Puppets are looking for creative interns for the 2027 summer season. You will work with our front office to build our visual brand and capture the story of the season. This role offers hands-on experience in sports and entertainment while you support marketing initiatives and the overall fan experience.
What you'll do#
- Design graphics for social media, game-day promotions, player announcements, theme nights, sponsorships, and marketing campaigns.
- Create and edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Capture photography and video during home games, community appearances, and special events.
- Assist with real-time social media coverage during games.
- Develop creative concepts that highlight players, mascots, and team promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing and promotions departments to execute creative campaigns.
- Maintain consistent branding across digital and print materials.
- Assist with additional creative and game-day tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and social media content creation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and all home games throughout the season.
- An interest in sports, marketing, or digital media is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
