About the role#
Bryn Mawr Trust is seeking college students for the 2027 Wealth Management Summer Internship Program. This paid, full-time program provides hands-on experience in financial services. You will work within our Wealth Management departments, including Trust and Estate Services, to support operations and gain insight into how wealth is managed and preserved for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside professionals across multiple business lines to gain exposure to real-world projects and strategic decision-making.
- Follow a comprehensive learning program that includes professional development activities.
- Support and present on projects, research, or operational activities to senior leaders.
- Assist with customer compliance, due diligence, and Middle Office operations.
- Build connections through mentorship and collaboration with peers and experienced staff.
- Engage with organizational leaders through panel discussions, networking events, and career-focused conversations.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social events.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed a minimum of one full year of college by May 2027.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Wilmington, Delaware.
- Modality: On-site, up to 5 days per week.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through mid-August).
- Availability: Must be available for in-person orientation and both in-person and virtual interviews.
