About the role#
As a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Co-op, you will work alongside manufacturing professionals to support the production of outboard and sterndrive motors. You will join a team of managers, supervisors, and technicians on the plant floor. You will own and manage assigned projects from start to finish while gaining hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in design reviews to improve the manufacturing process for new parts and operations.
- Evaluate test and production data to recommend manufacturing methods and processes.
- Design, plan, and conduct projects focused on process improvement and cost reduction.
- Evaluate vendor capability and qualify new processes for our products.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain daily production schedules.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Ability to work full-time (40+ hours per week) throughout the co-op term.
- Ability to enroll in a formalized co-op program through your university.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

- Terms available: Winter 2027, Summer 2027, or Fall 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
