About the role#
Join the Broan-NuTone Human Resources team to gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines, including talent management, employee engagement, benefits, and HR operations. You will partner with Talent and Site HR teams to support key people initiatives and process improvement efforts while receiving mentorship from HR professionals.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that enhance employee experience, talent development, and HR operational excellence.
- Assist with research, analysis, and recommendations regarding HR programs and best practices.
- Support the development and maintenance of HR documentation, such as job descriptions, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct audits and data reviews to improve accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various business and HR-related projects.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from planning through execution.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and business information.
- Support additional team priorities as business needs evolve.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree, certificate, or training program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience through internships, part-time work, volunteer roles, or campus leadership is preferred.
- Relevant coursework or experience in the department or business area is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Hartford, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027, through August 20, 2027).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Modality: Hybrid (Monday through Thursday in person, Friday remote).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
