About the role#
The Supplier Quality Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. You will support day-to-day department activities, work on supplier quality data, and assist with process initiatives. This role is designed for students or early-career professionals eager to learn about quality engineering and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with assigned projects, root cause investigations, information management, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support department goals.
- Learn and use internal systems, tools, and processes relevant to the role.
- Prepare materials, presentations, summaries, or documentation as needed.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on assigned action items.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve processes, communication, or team effectiveness.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree, certificate, or training program in engineering, quality, or information management, or a recent graduate seeking practical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Interest in learning about the company, quality, compliance, and potential career paths.
- Previous internship, part-time work, volunteer, data projects, or PowerBi experience is preferred.
- Coursework or experience related to the department or business area is preferred.
