About the role#
This is a paid internship designed to provide practical experience in the internal audit field. You will support the Internal Audit team while gaining insight into how academic studies apply to real world business operations. This is a full time, remote position.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and audit support to the Internal Audit team.
- Assist with SOX ITGC control testing and audit activities under management supervision.
- Automate meeting invitations, walkthroughs, and conference calls with stakeholders.
- Collect, organize, and maintain audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Request and track audit documentation required for testing.
- Perform data analytics, validation, and visualization to support audit objectives.
- Use AI tools and Data Engineering tools to automate testing procedures and evidence collection.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma required.
- Enrollment as a full time or part time student, having completed at least your junior year of undergraduate study.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and management.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, R, JSON, or C#.
- Fundamental knowledge of management information systems, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Experience using AI-powered tools for productivity, data analysis, or automation.
- Experience developing or utilizing AI agents and workflow automation solutions is a plus.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
