About the role#
Braun Intertec is looking for a student to join our Fargo office for a 6-month co-op. This is a paid, full-time position starting in mid-May and running through December. You will work alongside a professional engineer mentor to learn industry procedures and gain field experience. We provide in-depth technical training and the opportunity to earn industry certifications.
What you'll do#
- Perform testing on construction materials including soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
- Conduct onsite materials testing for commercial and transportation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure project specifications are met.
- Participate in a 3-day training event covering construction safety, soil classification, and ACI certification.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including on uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- A focus on safety and a practical approach to problem-solving.

- Term: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour.
