About the role#
The Radiologic Technologist Student Intern supports the medical imaging department at Bradley County Medical Center. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work under the supervision of the Director to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. This is a safety-sensitive role that requires consistent attendance.
What you'll do#
- Perform radiographic examinations while ensuring proper patient positioning and equipment setup.
- Verify patient identity and check requisitions for accuracy regarding the ordered exam and clinical diagnosis.
- Assess patient condition and use restraint or support devices to ensure safety.
- Follow radiation protection protocols to keep yourself, staff, and patients safe.
- Document patient information accurately and communicate findings to the care team.
- Organize patient care priorities based on physician orders and critical needs.
- Identify anatomical orientation and ensure images are labeled correctly.
- Assist with department workflow and report any safety hazards immediately.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and walk regularly during your shift.
- Comfort with occasional exposure to ionizing radiation and bodily fluids.

- Location: Warren, Arkansas.
- Schedule: This is a PRN position requiring at least one shift every 60 days.
- Term: Rolling.
