About the role#
National HealthCare Corporation offers a state-certified training program for individuals interested in becoming a Certified Nurse Aide. This paid program prepares students for a career in healthcare through an 18-day course. Classes are held Monday through Friday, with daily sessions running from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Complete the 18-day training course.
- Participate in clinical training components.
- Prepare for your future career as a Certified Nurse Aide.
- Maintain high standards for attendance and punctuality, as no absences or tardies are permitted.
What you'll need#
- Valid photo identification and a Social Security card for the pre-test.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a review of the South Carolina and National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.
- Maintain a minimum grade of 80 to stay enrolled in the program.
- Provide your own scrubs for clinicals and your own school supplies.
- Adhere to dress code policies regarding facial piercings.
