About the role#
NHC HealthCare Columbia offers a state-certified nurse aide training program designed to prepare students for a career in healthcare. This is a 10-day, full-time, on-site program. Upon successful completion of the course, employment opportunities may be available.
What you'll do#
- Attend all classes without absence or tardiness.
- Follow the course curriculum throughout the 10-day program.
- Participate in required clinical training.
- Maintain a grade average of 85 or higher to remain in the course.
- Complete a criminal background check and registry screening.
What you'll need#
- Completed application.
- Valid photo identification.
- Social Security card.
- Ability to purchase a set of scrubs to wear for class and clinical sessions.
- Ability to provide a $40 deposit for books and supplies on the first day of class, which is returned upon graduation.
