About the role#
National HealthCare Corporation (NHC) offers a state certified training program for students interested in a nursing career. This is an unpaid, 3-week program running Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. The next class begins in June 2026. Upon successful completion of the training, participants may be eligible for full-time employment with a base pay of $15 per hour.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- A valid I.D. and a valid SSN are required.
- Admission requires a clean background check. We consult the Tennessee and National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. Candidates with felony convictions or certain misdemeanor charges cannot be admitted to the class.
