About the role#
As a Software Test Engineer Co-op, you will join a product quality team working within an Agile environment. You will collaborate with developers to ensure the quality of software components, including user interfaces, algorithms, and back-end data handling. This role involves both manual and automated testing, providing exposure to tools such as Squish, Python, C++, MATLAB, and Linux in a lab setting.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to verify system functionality and user requirements.
- Perform manual testing and execute automated test scripts.
- Document test results and prepare comprehensive test reports.
- Record and track defects using a bug tracking system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to meaningful engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics.
- Expected graduation date between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Ability to commit to the full program period from June 15th to December 18th.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
