The Quality System Intern supports the Quality Management System (QMS) through structured administrative and documentation activities. Working alongside Quality Systems and cross-functional partners such as R&D, Operations, and Regulatory, this role maintains controlled documents and records, supports training and audit readiness, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated medical device environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for QMS processes, including document and records control, management controls, training, and EHS documentation.
- Maintain and organize controlled documentation and quality records, including filing, digitization, archiving, version control, and retrieval support.
- Support the creation, refinement, and rollout of documentation systems and trackers, such as logs for document status, training completion, audit actions, and quality metrics.
- Coordinate training logistics and evidence collection, including scheduling, participant lists, training records, and renewal reminders.
- Support EHS initiatives through administrative coordination, such as organizing records, maintaining inspection checklists, and tracking corrective actions.
- Assist with EHS communication and compliance, including scheduling safety training, preparing attendance evidence, and documenting incidents.
- Support inspection and audit readiness by preparing document packages, gathering evidence, and following up on action items.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in administration, communications, business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strength in administrative coordination, document organization, and maintaining structured record-keeping systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to draft, proofread, and format professional documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working in digital filing systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
