    About the role#

    As a Process Development Co-op, you will work with cross-functional teams to build manufacturing processes for medical devices. You will partner with research and development teams to turn designs into reality and work with operations to launch products that help patients. This is a paid, full-time, 8-month co-op assignment.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage the integrity and content of process plans, including material usage and task sequencing.
    • Collaborate with teams to establish and refine manufacturing processes.
    • Design, build, and test prototype devices based on clinical feedback.
    • Run process characterization experiments and validation to determine optimal manufacturing settings.
    • Research and recommend new technology for medical device production.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Graduation date between Fall 2028 and Spring 2030.
    • Ability to commit to a full 8-month co-op starting in either Winter or Summer 2027.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
    • Previous internship or co-op experience.
    • Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a hands-on medical device manufacturing environment.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Maple Grove, MN.
    • Modality: Hybrid (requires being in the office at least four days per week).
    • Transportation: Reliable transportation to the Maple Grove office is required.
