About the role#
The EP Mapping Field Internship provides exposure to the Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) Field Sales Organization. Interns will gain expertise in Boston Scientific technology, including 3D mapping and navigation systems, while developing the clinical and technical knowledge necessary to support the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. This role is field-based and offers hands-on experience with product launches in the EP market.
What you'll do#
- Support the mission of improving patient health through innovative medical solutions.
- Participate in hospital visits and field training workshops alongside the Cardiology Field Sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field sales reports.
- Adhere to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines and industry integrity policies.
- Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation, EP technology, and the current business landscape.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills for working with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- A self-starter mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and identifying improvement opportunities.
