EP Mapping Field Intern - Northeast - 2026

About the role#

The EP Mapping Field Internship offers an introduction to the Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) Field Sales Organization. This role provides exposure to the daily responsibilities of an EP mapping specialist, focusing on technologies used to treat heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation. Participants will gain expertise in Boston Scientific technology, including 3D mapping and navigation systems, ablation catheters, and diagnostic tools, while receiving professional development to prepare for a field-based career.

What you'll do#

• Participate in hospital visits and field training workshops alongside the Cardiology Field Sales team.
• Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation components, EP technology advancements, and the current business landscape.
• Manage accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and required field sales reports.
• Conduct all activities in accordance with Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines and company integrity policies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• A self-starter mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ability to travel regionally as needed.
