Veterinary Technician Externship

About the role#

This externship offers students the opportunity to gain clinical experience in a state-of-the-art veterinary environment. The program is designed to provide mentorship and exposure to a wide variety of primary and urgent care cases, helping students develop their clinical skills and medical knowledge.

What you'll do#

• Focus on direct patient care with support from veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team.
• Work side by side with veterinarians to provide high-quality care and support the local community.
• Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
• Use innovative technologies and new medical equipment, including tools currently being piloted.
• Attend internal educational events hosted by the Medical Operations Team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program.
• Requirement to complete externship hours or skills as part of your academic program.
• Independent, unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not provided for this position.
