About the role#
Bond Vet offers a Veterinary Technician Externship designed to provide hands-on clinical experience in a modern environment. You will work alongside veterinarians and credentialed technicians to gain exposure to a variety of cases in both primary and urgent care settings.
What you'll do#
- Focus on patient care with the support of veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team.
- Work side by side with veterinarians to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
- Educate pet parents about their pets' health.
- Attend internal educational events hosted by the Medical Operations Team.
- Utilize innovative technologies and medical equipment to support clinical practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program.
- Requirement to complete externship hours or specific skills for your current course of study.
- A strong interest in developing veterinary clinical skills.
