Veterinary Technician Externship

About the role#

Bond Vet is offering a Veterinary Technician Externship for students looking to complete their required hours in a clinical environment. This program provides exposure to a variety of urgent and primary care cases with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team.
• Work side by side with veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care.
• Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
• Educate pet parents on care and treatment.
• Utilize innovative medical equipment and clinic tools.
• Attend internal educational events provided by the Medical Operations Team.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program.
• A requirement within your program for externship hours or clinical skills.
• Independent, unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not available for this position).

• Compensation: Paid position ($7.25-$17.95 per hour, depending on location and university policy).
