About the role#
This externship provides an opportunity for students to gain clinical experience in a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic. You will work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinarians, focusing on both primary and urgent care. The program is designed to support your professional growth through mentorship and exposure to a variety of medical cases.
What you'll do#
- Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team.
- Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
- Shadow appointments with credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Educate pet parents about animal care.
- Use innovative medical equipment and clinic tools.
- Attend internal educational events provided by the Medical Operations Team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program.
- A requirement for externship hours or skills as part of your current coursework.
- Independent, unrestricted valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Please note that the company does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a pay range of $7.25 to $17.95 per hour, depending on university policy and location.
