About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to projects involving Global Business Aircraft. You will support the certification team by planning and coordinating tasks while identifying ways to optimize existing workflows. The role involves implementing new processes into daily and weekly routines and participating in both morning meetings and governance reviews.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the certification team on project-related tasks.
- Improve and optimize current processes.
- Integrate new procedures into regular work activities.
- Participate in daily morning meetings and weekly governance reviews.
- Gain exposure to software including SAP, Flexnet, and FATs Cert.
- Develop skills in presentation and facilitation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an Applied Science or Engineering student.
- Enthusiasm for the aerospace industry.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong grasp of project methodologies, techniques, and terminology.
- Skill in identifying problems and simplifying complex situations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel macros using VBA.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Duration: 12 months.
- Work Modality: On-site and Hybrid options available.
- Compensation: Paid position, ranging from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Eligibility: Open to current students only.
- Travel: Occasional travel outside of Canada may be required for training or work purposes.
