About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on executive-level project management within the aviation and aerospace manufacturing sector. The role is based in Dorval, Quebec, with a hybrid work structure.
What you'll do#
- Analyze operational data to find improvement opportunities.
- Work on projects to optimize production processes.
- Create business cases for operational excellence initiatives.
- Structure the scope, launch, and follow-up of projects.
- Bring stakeholders together and align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Production, and Quality.
- Coordinate project management actions and document project strategies.
- Create presentations to communicate project status to leadership.
- Make strategic recommendations to support company objectives.
- Track technical parameters and performance indicators such as cycle time, response time, and capacity.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Fluency in French is required, and English proficiency is an asset.
