About the role#
This internship position is for the Land Surveying service group during the Summer 2026 season. You will work primarily with an experienced crew chief to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, and ALTA surveys.
- Collect GPS data and gain experience with Trimble and Robotic Total Station equipment.
- Interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technician, Land Surveying, Survey Technician, or related degree program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
- A valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation for business-related travel.
- Preferred: General coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
