About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2026 season within the Municipal service group. Interns will gain practical experience by working primarily on construction phase activities, supporting infrastructure projects for various municipalities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with civil engineering projects, including planning and design tasks.
- Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform construction observation, construction staking, and construction administration duties.
- Complete design calculations, write specifications, and review shop drawings as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering or closely related degree program at an accredited institution.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8, with a 3.2 or above preferred.
- Sophomore status or higher, with completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
- Ability to work in extended outdoor conditions and navigate rugged terrain.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
