About the role#
This is a paid internship opportunity for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at one of our various locations to gain hands-on experience in machinery manufacturing. This role is designed to help you apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering projects while working alongside skilled professionals.
What you'll do#
- Create and modify parts and engineering drawings using Creo.
- Update Engineering Change Notices and Bills of Materials.
- Support prototype builds, equipment testing, and maintenance.
- Analyze test results to help improve product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve design challenges.
- Participate in design reviews and offer input on product improvements.
What you'll need#
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering degree program.
- A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit full-time to an 8-month co-op or a 4-month internship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A clear interest in sustainability and environmental responsibility.
