About the role#
As a Data Full Stack Engineer Intern, you will contribute to projects that improve how we design, build, and operate data products. You will work alongside Solution Design Leads, Data Engineers, and Analysts in an agile environment. This role provides hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms while you practice product thinking and engineering fundamentals.
What you'll do#
- Build and validate data pipelines under the guidance of senior engineers to move, transform, and quality-check data for analytics and reporting.
- Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance data workflows.
- Contribute to data product features by translating user stories into technical tasks, writing unit tests, and documenting changes.
- Analyze and improve data quality by creating checks, profiling datasets, and assisting in root-cause analysis.
- Support solution design by drafting models, diagrams, or design notes and participating in design reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Coursework or hands-on projects using SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Fundamental understanding of databases, data structures, and basic software engineering practices like version control and testing.
- Familiarity with cloud data concepts such as Azure or Snowflake, dbt, or data modeling basics.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
