About the role#
This internship offers a rotational experience across the Talent Strategy and Process, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partner teams at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. You will gain exposure to different departments within the HR function while building an understanding of the health insurance industry. The program focuses on providing hands-on experience and networking opportunities to support your career development.
What you'll do#
- Research and prepare materials to identify business problems and suggest solutions.
- Support leaders on projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency.
- Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs.
- Participate in department meetings, networking events, and community outreach activities.
- Develop a working knowledge of company products, programs, and data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
