About the role#
Blood Cancer United is seeking a Campaign Fundraising Specialist to support the Visionaries and Student Visionaries of the Year campaigns. This role focuses on logistics, data management, and coordination for peer-to-peer fundraising products to help the organization reach its revenue goals. You will work to integrate the mission of the organization into fundraising efforts while ensuring operational success.
What you'll do#
- Act as an on-site manager during campaign fundraising events to oversee staff, vendors, and volunteers.
- Oversee logistics, timelines, and operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
- Research and recommend event venues and location sites based on campaign standards.
- Manage data entry to ensure accuracy within CRM and fundraising systems.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator and the local relationship team to achieve revenue goals.
- Assist in managing expense budgets related to campaign logistics.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a related role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
- Experience supervising and leading a group of volunteers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the designated area and work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Ability to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
